Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH)

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history reviews and oral examinations.
• Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing procedures.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
• Assist in the development of individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Maintain accurate patient records using dental software systems such as Eaglesoft.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and infection control protocols.
• Collaborate with dentists and other staff members to provide comprehensive care.
• Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications: Associate or Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program, valid and current RDH license in the state of California, current CPR/BLS certification, dental radiograph certification
• Previous experience in a dental office or healthcare setting is a plus but not required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, reliable with a strong work ethic, willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced dental environment, and ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
