Responsibilities

• Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup.
• Conduct oral health assessments and document findings accurately in patient records.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, dietary habits, and preventive care strategies.
• Assist the dentist during examinations, procedures, and treatments with professionalism and efficiency.
• Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) following safety protocols to assist in diagnosis.
• Sterilize and prepare dental instruments and equipment to ensure a safe, hygienic environment.
• Provide compassionate patient support by addressing questions, alleviating concerns, and promoting positive experiences.

Qualifications

• Valid licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist in accordance with state or regional regulations.
• Proven experience in performing dental cleanings and patient education.
• Strong knowledge of dental hygiene practices, infection control standards, and radiography procedures.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients and collaborate with team members.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: $42.00 - $50.00 per hour
