The Opportunity

As our Registered Dental Hygienist, you will play an important role in our patients' overall oral health and their experience at our practice.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing comprehensive preventive dental hygiene services
• Performing periodontal assessments and documenting findings
• Prophylaxis and periodontal maintenance
• Taking and reviewing appropriate dental radiographs
• Providing oral hygiene education and personalized home-care recommendations
• Utilizing AirFlow® Guided Biofilm Therapy as part of our advanced hygiene protocols
• Identifying periodontal concerns and communicating findings to the doctor
• Educating patients about recommended treatment
• Helping patients understand the connection between oral health and overall health
• Maintaining accurate clinical documentation
• Creating a comfortable, positive, and welcoming experience for every patient
• Working collaboratively with the doctor and entire dental team

We Are Looking For Someone Who:

Must have:

• Current California Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license
• Current CPR certification
• Strong clinical hygiene skills
• Excellent communication and patient-interaction skills
• Professional, positive, and dependable attitude
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail
• Commitment to providing exceptional patient care

Ideal candidate:

You are more than someone who simply performs a cleaning. You are a patient educator, oral-health advocate, and healthcare professional who takes pride in the quality of care you provide.

You enjoy getting to know your patients, explaining what you are seeing, helping them improve their oral health, and making their dental experience comfortable and positive.

Experience with AirFlow®/Guided Biofilm Therapy is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.

• Do you have experience with AirFlow®/GBT or similar advanced hygiene technology?
• We expect our Hygienists to be "restorative partner" to the doctor. What does this mean to you?
• How often do you propose laser, irrigation, vVardis, Invisalign, etc. How about probing and diagnosing SRPs?
