We have a loyal patient base and stable and friendly team. We are looking for 2 hygienists to join our fabulous team due to retirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup
• Conduct patient assessments by taking vital signs, medical history, and dental examinations
• Capture and interpret dental x-rays using advanced imaging equipment while ensuring radiation safety protocols
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions
• Maintain accurate and detailed electronic health records (EHR) using Dentrix while ensuring HIPAA compliance
• Follow infection prevention protocols through aseptic techniques, sterilization procedures, and infection control measures to safeguard patient and staff health

Requirements

• Valid licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist in Ohio
• Proven experience in general dentistry, with strong knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
• Proficiency in Dentrix for documentation and scheduling management, or a willingness to learn Dentrix - we will teach!
• Familiarity with pediatric dentistry practices is preferred but not required; experience working with children is a plus
• Ability to perform dental x-rays accurately while adhering to radiation safety standards
• Excellent communication skills for patient education, team collaboration, and client interactions
• Knowledge of healthcare infection prevention, aseptic techniques, and medical records management
• Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations to maintain patient confidentiality at all times

Pay: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour

Expected hours: 7.5 – 36.0 per week
