Registered Dental Hygienist

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Registered Dental Hygienist to join our modern dental practice. Responsibilities

• Perform professional dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup.
• Conduct oral health assessments, including periodontal charting and oral examinations.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and personalized care plans.
• Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) accurately and efficiently.
• Assist in developing treatment plans in collaboration with the dentist and other team members.
• Maintain sterilization protocols and ensure all dental instruments are properly sanitized.
• Document patient information accurately in electronic health records using modern dental technology systems.
• Stay informed about the latest advancements in dental hygiene practices through continuing education opportunities.
• Foster a welcoming environment that promotes patient comfort and trust during visits.

Skills

• Valid licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist in accordance with state regulations.
• Strong knowledge of dental hygiene procedures, infection control, and safety protocols.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients and collaborate with team members.
• Proficiency with digital radiography, electronic health records, and other modern dental technologies.
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team within a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $51.25 - $62.50 per hour

Expected hours: 32.0 – 40.0 per week
