Responsibilities

• Perform dental prophylaxis, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth to prevent oral disease.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs and medical history reviews, ensuring accurate documentation.
• Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays), ensuring proper technique and patient safety protocols are followed.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-care instructions to promote lifelong dental health.

Skills

• Proficiency in dental terminology, and anatomy knowledge relevant to oral health.
• Experience with dental equipment operation, dental x-ray procedures.
• Strong understanding of infection control standards and healthcare infection prevention practices.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively about dental care and treatment plans.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
