Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing, to maintain optimal oral health.
• Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, vital signs, and current dental conditions.
• Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays) using dental imaging equipment while adhering to safety protocols.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and treatment options tailored to their needs.
• Maintain accurate and detailed electronic health records (Dentrix), documenting all procedures and patient interactions.
• Follow infection prevention protocols, including aseptic techniques and infection control measures, to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.

Skills

• Proficiency in Dentrix for scheduling, documentation, and charting purposes.
• Ability to take diagnostic dental x-ray and self evaluated for proper capturing.
• Excellent communication skills with both the patients and the team.
• Knowledge of healthcare infection prevention and control standards, including aseptic techniques and sterilization processes.

Pay: $65.00 - $70.00 per hour
