Overview

West side dental office looking to add a part time Registered Dental Hygienist to our dental team. Available days and hours are Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday 8:00-5:00. We are looking for a caring hygienist to provide comprehensive dental hygiene services to our patients. Come make our office your new dental home!

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and root planing.
• Review medical histories, chart existing dental conditions and inform patients of recommended treatment.
• Take digital dental radiographs, ensuring accurate imaging for diagnosis while maintaining radiation safety protocols.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, preventive care strategies, and post-treatment instructions to promote long-term dental health.
• Manage electronic dental charts using Eaglesoft.
• Maintain infection prevention standards by implementing aseptic techniques, sterilizing equipment, and adhering to infection control protocols.

Qualifications

• Valid licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist in accordance with state regulations.
• CPR certification
• Proven experience in dental office settings. Exerience with Eaglesoft is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively on dental care practices.
• Commitment to HIPAA compliance management and maintaining patient confidentiality at all times.
• Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while adhering to infection prevention standards.

Pay: From $38.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24.0 per week
