What You'll Be Doing

As a Registered Dental Hygienist, you'll play an essential role in helping patients maintain excellent oral health while delivering a comfortable, educational, and positive dental experience.

Clinical Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive dental hygiene services, including prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, and scaling and root planing when indicated.
• Conduct periodontal assessments, charting, and oral health evaluations.
• Take diagnostic dental radiographs in accordance with applicable regulations.
• Educate patients on preventive dentistry, proper oral hygiene, and periodontal health.
• Identify potential oral health concerns and communicate clinical findings to the dentist.
• Collaborate with the dentist to support appropriate treatment recommendations.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records.
• Follow established sterilization, infection-control, and patient-safety protocols.
• Build trusting, long-term relationships with patients through compassionate and professional care.
• Work collaboratively with the dental team to maintain an organized and efficient clinical schedule.

Qualifications & Experience

Required Qualifications

• Active Minnesota Dental Hygienist license in good standing.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Strong knowledge of preventive dentistry and periodontal treatment.

• Commitment to patient comfort, safety, and clinical excellence.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous clinical dental hygiene experience.
• Experience with digital radiography and electronic dental records.
• Strong periodontal assessment and treatment-planning skills.
