Bluffside Dental is seeking a patient-focused, clinically skilled Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our private dental practice in Red Wing, MN. We are a collaborative, team-oriented office committed to preventive dentistry, periodontal health, and long-term patient relationships.

We are hiring a Registered Dental Hygienist for either full-time (32 hours per week) or part-time hours, depending on your preference.

Compensation

• $52.00+ per hour
• Compensation based on clinical experience, tenure, and skill set

Schedule & Work-Life Balance

• 4-day work week
• Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• No evenings
• No Fridays
• No weekends

Registered Dental Hygienist Responsibilities

As a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH), your clinical duties will include:

• Performing comprehensive dental hygiene procedures including prophylaxis, scaling and root planing (SRP), periodontal maintenance, and fluoride varnish treatments
• Conducting periodontal charting and assessing gum health
• Taking high-quality digital radiographs (X-rays)
• Performing oral cancer screenings and documenting findings
• Reviewing medical histories and updating electronic health records (EHR)
• Providing individualized oral hygiene instruction and patient education
• Identifying restorative or periodontal treatment needs and communicating findings to the dentist
• Assisting in co-diagnosis and treatment planning discussions
• Maintaining OSHA compliance, infection control protocols, and sterilization standards
• Accurately charting and documenting clinical notes using dental software

Our Registered Dental Hygienist plays a key role in preventive care, early detection, and patient retention.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in Minnesota
• CPR/BLS certification
• Experience preferred but not required
• Strong understanding of periodontal therapy and preventive dentistry
• Proficiency with digital charting and dental practice management software
• Excellent communication and patient education skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Strong attention to detail and time management
