Registered Dental Hygienist

We are a family-owned office seeking an outgoing, passionate, detail-oriented Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the dental office. We are dedicated to using innovative technology and techniques to deliver exceptional and comfortable dental care.

Responsibilities:

Perform routine prophylaxis and scaling & root planing.

Apply pit and fissure sealants and desensitizing agents.

Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations.

Record patient medical history.

Communicate with patients in a professional manner and help alleviate patient anxiety.

Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient treatment and oral health assessments using Dentrix.

Take X-rays and intraoral photographs.

Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and dietary habits to promote optimal oral health.

Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment.

Ensure compliance with infection control protocols.

Conduct oral cancer screenings and periodontal charting.

Other duties as assigned.
