Registered Dental Hygienist

Overview

Looking for a great hygienist to join our boutique practice in San Mateo. We will provide you a nice working environment and be supportive of you!

Duties

• Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup.
• Take dental radiographs (X-rays) using digital imaging technology while ensuring patient safety through proper technique.
• Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, vital signs, and current dental conditions to inform treatment plans.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to empower them in maintaining oral health.

Skills

• Team player
• Help with co-diagnosis
• Occasional sealant placements
• Present non-surgical periodontal treatments
• Laser certified a plus
• Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate clearly, build rapport, and educate effectively on dental health topics.

Pay: From $75.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8.0 – 24.0 per week
