Registered Dental Assistant with Experience

Job description:

Join our well-rounded and amazing team and be trained at CBCT operation, Itero scanning, pediatric and adult sedation, OR assisting, pediatric assisting and implant placement assisting.

Candidates with at least 1 year experience may apply. Previous experience in assisting both Pediatric and General Dentistry will give you the edge.

Description of responsibilities:

• Greet and prepare patients for exams and treatment
• Chairside assisting in a variety of dental procedures
• Records patient information including vital signs, medical/dental history, treatment plan
• Take radiographs, scans and intra-oral pictures
• Provide pre-operative and post operative instructions and patient education
• Prepare all treatment rooms including, but not limited to, set-up, decontamination, sterilization of all instruments, cleaning and restocking.
• Maintain strict compliance to infection control, CDC, OSHA and HIPAA
• Maintain dental supply inventory
• Perform other related job duties as assigned

Required certifications and skills:

· Valid RDA license

· Valid X-ray Certificate

· Basic Life Support (BLS)

· Nitrous Monitoring certification is a plus

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Bilingual English and Spanish
