Full-Time Experienced Dental Assistant — Nova Dentistry

Nova Dentistry is seeking a skilled, dependable dental assistant to join our single-doctor general dentistry practice in San Antonio. We serve PPO and private-pay patients and value quality care, clear communication, and teamwork.

Our modern office features digital scanning, CAD/CAM technology, CBCT imaging, and Zoom Whitening. We’re looking for someone who is organized, works efficiently, and helps patients feel comfortable.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the dentist with general dentistry procedures.
• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials.
• Take dental radiographs and digital scans within authorized duties.
• Complete sterilization and follow infection-control protocols.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation as directed.
• Communicate effectively with the clinical and front-office teams to keep appointments running smoothly.

Qualifications:

• Current Texas Registered Dental Assistant credentials and CPR certification and coronal polishing
• At least 3 years of dental assisting experience; 5 or more preferred.
• Experience with digital scanning and restorative workflows preferred.
• Familiarity with Zoom Whitening is a plus.
• Strong communication skills, punctuality, and a collaborative attitude.

Schedule:

• Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday: 8:00 AM–3:00 PM, with no scheduled lunch break.
• Wednesday: 10:00 AM–6:30 PM.
• Two Saturdays per month.

This position requires consistent availability for the full schedule. Part-time hours are not available.

Compensation is based on experience and qualifications. Benefits include paid time off, sick leave, monthly bonuses, and discounted dental treatment.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38.0 – 42.0 per week
