Registered Dental Assistant (RDA): Orbis Dental Group, San Antonio, TX

Orbis Dental Group is a patient-focused practice in San Antonio. We combine modern clinical care with a warm, team-first culture. We're looking for a skilled, reliable Registered Dental Assistant to join our chairside team and help us deliver excellent care every day.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients in the dental office
• Prepare patients for treatments or checkups ensuring their comfort
• Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed
• Sterilize instruments according to regulations
• Assist the dentist through 4-handed or 6-handed dentistry
• Undertake lab tasks as instructed
• Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
• Keep the office clean and well-stocked
• Schedule appointments
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with payment procedures

Skills

• Proven experience as dental assistant
• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
• Understanding of health & safety regulations
• Ability to perform regulated non-surgical tasks like coronal polishing is a plus
• Good computer skills
• Willing to learn and work as a team
• Excellent communication and people skills
• Attention to detail
• Well-organized and reliable

What We're Looking For

• Current Texas RDA certificate in good standing with the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners (TSBDE)
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• [1–2+] years of chairside experience preferred; strong new graduates encouraged to apply
• Coronal polishing and pit-and-fissure sealant certificates are a plus
• Experience with digital scanners (iTero, Primescan, etc.) is a plus
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
• Dependable and detail-oriented, with a calm, caring chairside manner

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
