Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Dental Assistant who is relatively new to the field of dentistry but has at least two years of training. The ideal candidate should possess a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn and grow with our practice. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
• Take and mount dental radiographs (X-rays)
• Provide patients with oral care instructions following surgery or other dental treatments
• Ensure patients feel comfortable before, during, and after dental treatments
• Present Treatment Plans efficiently and patiently answering any questions the patient may have
• Manage infection control - prepare and maintain instruments, equipment, and materials
• Schedule appointments, maintain patient records, and coordinate billing and payment

Proficient Skills and Qualifications:

• Completed at least two years of dental assisting / training
• Basic understanding of dental procedures and terminology
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in using dental practice management software (Open Dental experience preferred but not required)

Must possess or be willing to learn the following skills:

• Gingival retraction cord packing
• Temporary crown fabrication
• Digital Intraoral Scanning
• Treatment Plan Presentation
• 3D printing models
• Design/milling and processing permanent crowns
• Adjusting removable prostheses

Base Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
