Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our vibrant dental team. Responsibilities

• Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures including oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry, ensuring all instruments and materials are prepared and sterilized according to infection prevention management protocols.
• Operate dental equipment such as X-ray machines, 3D scanners, and medical imaging devices while adhering to dental sterilization procedures and aseptic techniques.
• Take and develop dental X-rays in compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain accurate medical documentation and records.
• Manage patient flow efficiently by greeting patients as a dental receptionist, updating vital signs, medical history, and ensuring patient comfort throughout their visit.
• Utilize patient management software such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix to schedule appointments, update medical records, and facilitate effective communication within the team.
• Maintain clinical confidentiality policies while handling sensitive patient information with integrity and professionalism.
• Support infection control practices by following healthcare infection prevention and control expertise guidelines and ensuring all dental instruments are processed correctly for reuse.
• Assist with dental instrument processing, sterilization procedures, and maintaining a clean clinical environment in accordance with OSHA standards.
• Provide education on oral health care tips tailored for pediatric patients and support general dentistry needs through four-handed dentistry techniques.

Experience

• Prior experience working as a Registered Dental Assistant is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, and clinical procedures related to oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatrics is required.
• Hands-on experience with dental x-ray techniques and dental sterilization procedures is necessary to ensure safety and quality standards are met.
• Demonstrated ability to follow infection prevention policies, aseptic techniques, and clinical confidentiality policies is critical for success in this role.

Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour
