Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our vibrant dental team. Duties

• Assist dentists during a variety of treatment procedures, including general dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry
• Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing and organizing dental instruments and equipment according to infection prevention management protocols
• Take and develop dental x-rays, including 3D scans, ensuring adherence to dental sterilization procedures and aseptic techniques
• Manage patient records using electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or similar software while maintaining clinical confidentiality policies
• Monitor vital signs and medical documentation to support comprehensive patient care and ensure safety during procedures
• Educate patients on oral health practices and post-treatment care to promote ongoing dental wellness
• Support front desk operations by assisting the dental receptionist with patient management software and scheduling as needed

Experience

• Proven experience working as a Dental Assistant in a busy dental clinic environment with exposure to general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, or prosthodontics preferred
• Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, dental equipment operation, and medical terminology relevant to dentistry
• Hands-on experience with dental x-ray techniques and medical imaging technology including 3D scanners is highly desirable
• Familiarity with infection control standards and sterilization procedures aligned with healthcare infection prevention and control expertise
• Proficiency in using dental practice management software such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft for patient records and appointment scheduling
• Ability to perform chairside assisting with four-handed dentistry techniques efficiently in a fast-paced setting
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure the confidentiality of all patient medical records and documentation

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
