Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our dynamic dental team. Responsibilities

• Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including general dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry.
• Prepare treatment rooms with dental instruments, supplies, and equipment, ensuring all tools are sterilized and ready for use according to infection prevention management protocols.
• Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays), including dental x-ray procedures and 3D scans, adhering to safety standards and clinical confidentiality policies.
• Manage patient records using electronic medical records (EMR systems) such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix, ensuring accuracy and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Perform chairside assisting with four-handed dentistry techniques, maintaining aseptic technique and supporting efficient workflow.
• Take vital signs and medical history updates to assist in comprehensive patient care and ensure safety during procedures.
• Educate patients on oral health practices, post-treatment care, and treatment plans while maintaining excellent patient management software records.

Skills

• Proficiency with EMR systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or similar patient management software.
• Strong knowledge of dental terminology, dental instruments, equipment, and sterilization procedures.
• Experience with dental x-ray techniques, medical imaging, and 3D scanner operation.
• Familiarity with healthcare infection prevention and control standards for dental clinics.
• Ability to perform dental instrument processing efficiently while adhering to infection prevention policies.
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate with patients as a dental receptionist when needed and explain procedures clearly.
• Knowledge of pediatric dentistry principles, oral surgery protocols, endodontics procedures, prosthodontics basics, and general dentistry practices.
