What Does a Prosthodontist Do?
A prosthodontist is a dentist who specializes in dental prosthetics — the diagnosis, treatment planning, rehabilitation, and maintenance of oral function, comfort, appearance, and health for patients with missing or deficient teeth and oral or maxillofacial tissues, using biocompatible substitutes.
