Patient Care Coordinator

Job Summary

Kingston Family Cosmetic Dental Center is seeking a highly professional, personable, and motivated Patient Care Coordinator to join our team.

The ideal candidate will play a key role in creating an exceptional patient experience, coordinating consultations and treatment plans, assisting patients with financial arrangements, and supporting the growth of the practice.

Our practice focuses on cosmetic dentistry, dental implants, Invisalign and clear aligners, laser dentistry, sedation dentistry, TMJ treatment, holistic/biological dentistry, and comprehensive restorative care.

The successful candidate must be comfortable discussing treatment options, helping patients understand the value of recommended dentistry, coordinating appointments, following up with patients, and maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer service.

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• College degree preferred

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a dental office,
• Dental treatment coordination experience is strongly preferred
• Knowledge in Medical Insurance (ICD, CPT) is a plus
• Experience with cosmetic dentistry, dental implants, Invisalign, TMJ, and Sleep Apnea is a plus
• Strong sales, communication, and patient relationship-building skills
• Excellent telephone skills and a warm, professional speaking voice
• Comfortable discussing treatment plans, fees, financing, and payment options
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Detail-oriented and highly responsive to patients and team members
• Comfortable using email, Microsoft Word, and dental practice management software
• Experience with dental imaging, electronic health records, and digital patient communication platforms is a plus
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA requirements
• Ability to remain calm, professional, and solution-oriented in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

· Patient Communication and Lead Management

· Scheduling and Patient Follow-Up

• Respond promptly and professionally to new patient inquiries from the practice website, phone calls, social media, and other marketing sources
• Communicate with patients regarding consultations and services offered by the practice
• Educate patients about the practice and encourage them to schedule a consultation
• Track new patient leads and document how patients learned about the practice
• Enter and maintain accurate patient demographic and communication information
• Follow up with prospective patients who have not scheduled an appointment
• Maintain an active cancellation and short-notice appointment list
• Contact patients when earlier appointments become available

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32.0 – 38.0 per week
