Registered Dental Hygienist

We are a small-town, privately owned, single-doctor office. We’re looking for and RDH who enjoys building long-term relationships with patients, and being part of a positive team environment. We have a supportive doctor, loyal patients, and a friendly office culture.

What We’re Looking For

• Active North Carolina dental hygiene license
• Planning on staying long term
• Dependable and punctual
• Friendly — be able to build rapport and trust with patients
• Good team player — brings positivity and a smile to work daily.
• Thorough and detail-oriented in both patient care and operatory maintenance
• Experience with Eaglesoft is a plus

Schedule

Part-time, 2 days per week, ideally Wednesdays and Thursdays, but days can be flexible for the right candidate.

1 hour appointment times.

Hygiene Responsibilities Include

• Performing comprehensive dental cleanings and periodontal therapy
• Conducting periodontal charting and assessments
• Taking digital radiographs
• Applying fluoride, sealants, and Curodont as prescribed
• Performing oral cancer screenings
• Educating patients on oral hygiene and preventive care
• Identifying and co-diagnosing restorative and periodontal needs with the doctor
• Maintaining accurate clinical documentation
