Dental Hygienist – One Sunday Per Month

Smiles 4 A Lifetime is seeking a dedicated, skilled, and patient-focused Dental Hygienist to join our team on a part-time basis.

For more than 35 years, our practice has proudly cared for generations of patients. We are a family-oriented dental office built on long-standing patient relationships, exceptional care, and teamwork.

Schedule

• One Sunday per month
• 8:45 a.m.–4:00 p.m.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough dental cleanings and periodontal therapy
• Assess and document patients’ periodontal and oral health
• Take necessary dental X-rays
• Review patients’ medical and dental histories
• Educate patients on oral hygiene, preventive care, and recommended treatment
• Maintain accurate and complete clinical documentation
• Follow all infection-control, sterilization, and safety protocols
• Collaborate with the dentist and clinical team to provide comprehensive patient care
• Help create a welcoming, comfortable, and positive experience for every patient

Qualifications

• Current Dental Hygienist license in good standing
• Current CPR certification
• Knowledge of periodontal care and preventive dentistry
• Experience using Dentrix Ascend is strongly preferred
• Excellent clinical, communication, and patient-education skills
• Dependable, professional, organized, and attentive to detail
• Ability to work effectively as part of a close-knit dental team
• Availability to work one Sunday per month from 8:45 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
