Dental Hygienist

Job Description:
We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Dental Hygienist to join our vibrant dental team with a current New York State Registered Dental Hygiene License.

Hours: 3/days week: Monday and Friday 10-5 , Saturday 9-6

Duties

• Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing on adults and children, apply sealants and fluoride varnish, give local anesthesia
• Take X-rays while maintaining strict infection control protocols
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, including brushing, flossing, and preventive care strategies
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations by safeguarding patient confidentiality and documentation review

Experience

• Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist in a dental office setting
• Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control procedures, and aseptic techniques
• Strong understanding of dental coding for billing and documentation purposes
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and data security at all times

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $52.00 - $60.00 per hour
