Part-Time Registered Dental Assistant

Essence Dentistry & Cosmetics is a private dental practice in Forney looking for an experienced, dependable Part-Time Registered Dental Assistant to join our team.

We are a small private office focused on thorough care, quality dentistry, and an excellent patient experience. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, pays attention to detail, and wants to continue growing clinically.

Schedule

• Tuesday & Wednesday
• Approximately 7:45 AM – 4:00 PM
• Potential to add one additional day per week

Pay

Starting at $20-26+/hour, with higher pay based on experience, skill level, and additional clinical capabilities.

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 2 years of dental assisting experience
• Digital scanning experience
• Comfortable making temporary crowns/restorations
• Safe, diagnostic-quality X-rays
• Strong sterilization and infection-control habits
• Excellent customer service and patient communication
• Detail-oriented, dependable, and open to learning
• Bilingual/Spanish-speaking is a plus
• 3D printing and/or exocad experience is a huge plus

Day-to-Day

• Assist with general, restorative, cosmetic, and surgical procedures
• Turn over and prepare rooms for doctor and hygiene
• Maintain sterilization and clinical compliance
• Perform scans, X-rays, temps, and whitening trays
• Help track lab cases and keep daily clinical documentation organized
• Assist with patient confirmations and post-op follow-up when needed
