Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Orthodontist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in orthodontics and demonstrate a commitment to providing exceptional patient care. This role involves diagnosing and treating dental and facial irregularities, utilizing various orthodontic techniques and technologies to enhance patients' oral health and aesthetics.

Duties

• Conduct comprehensive examinations of patients to assess their orthodontic needs.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on diagnostic findings.
• Utilize advanced orthodontic techniques, including braces, aligners, and retainers, to correct misalignments.
• Collaborate with dental staff to ensure effective patient care and treatment coordination.
• Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment options, procedures, and oral hygiene practices.
• Ensure adherence to infection control protocols within the dental clinic.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in orthodontics and general dentistry practices.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
• Completion of an accredited orthodontic residency program.
• Proficiency in using dental software such as Dentrix or Epic for patient management.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy relevant to orthodontics and pediatric dentistry.
• Familiarity with dental fabrication processes for creating custom appliances.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care and education.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while maintaining professionalism.
