We are looking for an experienced, personable Orthodontic Dental Assistant who enjoys building relationships with patients and families and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced office.

Position Overview

As an Orthodontic Dental Assistant, you will be an important part of the patient experience, providing hands-on clinical support while helping patients feel comfortable and confident throughout their treatment.

Responsibilities

• Capture intraoral photographs, digital X-rays, and iTero scans
• Take impressions, pour models, and fabricate vacuum-formed retainers
• Assist with bracket bonding, band fitting and cementation, wire changes, and appliance placement
• Provide excellent chairside support during orthodontic appointments
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Keep treatment areas clean, organized, and properly prepared
• Communicate professionally and effectively with patients and parents
• Help create a positive, comfortable, and welcoming patient experience

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of orthodontic assisting experience preferred
• Active Texas RDA license
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Friendly, confident, and professional chairside manner
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and team-oriented
• Passion for orthodontics and providing exceptional patient care
