Oral Surgery Dental Assistant

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Oral Surgery Assistant to join our team. Experience in oral surgery is preferred, but we are willing to train the right dental assistant who is eager to learn and grow in a surgical setting.

This position also includes light front office responsibilities and maintaining a clean, organized clinical environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the surgeon during oral surgery procedures
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and operatories
• Take and process dental radiographs
• Monitor and support patients before, during, and after procedures
• Provide post-operative instructions to patients
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of clinical areas
• Assist with room turnover and basic cleaning duties
• Support front office as needed (checking patients in/out, answering phones, scheduling)

Requirements:

• Active California X-Ray License (Required)
• Dental assisting experience preferred (oral surgery experience a plus, but not required)
• Willingness to learn and be trained in oral surgery procedures
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
