Manager dental office

Overview

Lead the daily operations of a dental office and help patients receive organized, respectful care. As Manager, Dental Office, you’ll coordinate staff, finances, records, and office workflows and treatment plan presentation while supporting compliance with health regulations and the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). Your impact: Clear, well-managed operations help patients navigate care and enable the dental team to focus on treatment.

Duties

• Manage schedules, patient flow, customer service, medical records, and administrative support.
• Supervise and support healthcare staff; coordinate hiring, human resources processes, and team communication.
• Oversee budgeting, financial management, medical billing, and practice performance.
• Maintain compliant records and workflows using electronic health record (EHR) and electronic medical record (EMR) systems, patient management software, and tools such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft.
• Apply relevant health regulation policies and coordinate managed care or utilization management processes as applicable.

Qualifications

• Required: Dental office, dental clinic; office or practice management; and experience supervising teams.
• Demonstrated skills in healthcare staff management, medical management, healthcare management, and managing teams as a healthcare practice manager.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office, EMR/EHR systems, EHR management, medical terminology, medical records, compliance, and HIPAA.
• Knowledge of budgeting, financial management, medical billing, and managerial communication.

Need to speak spanish. Portugues is a plus.

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
