Start smiling! We are looking for a passionate, reliable Orthodontic Assistant ready to join our team. This role splits time between hands-on clinical care and administrative support, with independent responsibility for our satellite office.

Schedule: Full-time, 3–4 days per week

  • 2 days/week: Clinical assisting
  • 1–2 days/week: Administrative support at our satellite office (scheduling, stocking, and cleaning)

We need someone who is self-motivated and dependable, and comfortable managing satellite office tasks independently.

Training: All new team members must complete initial training at our main office before working independently at the satellite location. Candidates must be able to travel to [Main Office City/Address] for approximately [2–3] weeks at the start of employment.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Deliver quality and personable care to every patient
  • Educate patients in oral hygiene of their braces and appliances
  • Communicate with parents/patients at the end of each visit to address concerns and answer treatment questions
  • Take x-rays
  • Take quality orthodontic facial photos
  • Prepare tray set-ups for dental procedures
  • Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
  • Clean chairs and rooms
  • Document patient information, treatment plans, and procedures in patient chart
  • Manage administrative duties on non-clinical days, including scheduling, stocking supplies, and cleaning/organizing the satellite office
  • Operate independently at the satellite office on assigned days
  • Additional duties will be assigned to achieve company standards and goals as efficiently as possible
  • Travels between multiple offices as needed (main office for training, then satellite office)

REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to travel between multiple offices, including for initial training period
  • Reliable and self-motivated — comfortable working without direct supervision
  • Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Possess excellent organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Able to multitask and perform job duties in a timely manner
  • Prior orthodontic or dental assisting experience preferred
  • X-ray certification (as required by your state)

Pay: Based on experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
