Hygienist Dental

Dr. Belasco, Ober and Associates We are seeking a Registered Dental Hygienist to join our growing practice. All candidates are required to have their PA State Hygiene License. The ideal candidate will be self-sufficient, have an excellent chair-side manner, and be motivated.

• Ensure patients feel as comfortable as possible before their examination
• Sterilize dental instruments properly
• Conduct initial mouth screenings and check oral health history
• Identify conditions like gingivitis, caries or periodontitis
• Clean and help protect patients’ teeth (e.g. remove plaque or apply fluoride)
• Educate patients of all ages on proper teeth care (by demonstrating, for example, good brushing techniques)
• X-ray certification
• CPR Certification required
• Maintain electronic documentation and charts on each patient
• Monitor supplies

Skills

• Proven experience as Dental Hygienist
• In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations in this profession
• A patience and friendly personality
• State licensure in dental hygiene and certification from an accredited program

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35.00 - $38.00 per hour
