Healthcare Receptionist

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Healthcare Receptionist to join our dental team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a passion for providing outstanding customer service. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for patients, assisting with inquiries, scheduling appointments, and ensuring a seamless experience for all patients.

Duties

• Respond promptly and professionally to patient inquiries via phone, email, and online platforms, demonstrating exceptional phone etiquette and communication skills.
• Verify patient information accurately through data entry and maintain detailed records within the healthcare management system.
• Schedule appointments and follow-up visits
• Assist with processing medical documentation and ensuring compliance with confidentiality regulations.
• Collaborate with dental providers and administrative staff to facilitate smooth operations within the dental office.
• Utilize computer skills effectively to navigate electronic health records (EHR) systems and support administrative tasks.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a medical or dental office or healthcare customer service environment.
• Bilingual abilities are highly desirable; fluency in English plus additional languages is preferred.
• Excellent computer skills, including proficiency with data entry and healthcare management software.
• Exceptional communication skills with an emphasis on clear, empathetic interactions with diverse populations.
• Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
• Previous experience in customer service roles within healthcare settings is advantageous.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
