General Dentist

Overview:

Need temp help to cover DDS maternity leave; can become permanent part time position for the right candidate. :)

5 op single doctor practice is looking for a skilled compassionate dentist.

Any number of days or hours. VERY flexible. Schedule can be built around your preferences.

Generally, we work 4 days a week 8:30-5pm

Staff includes:

2 front staff (Office manager & Hygiene coordinator)

2 assistants (2 RDA's)

2 RDHs (2-3 days each)

Responsibilities:
- Perform routine dental examinations, including oral cancer screenings and dental X-rays
- Diagnose and treat dental conditions, such as cavities, gum disease, and tooth decay
- Administer anesthetics to patients to minimize pain during procedures
- Create treatment plans and discuss them with patients to ensure understanding and consent
- Perform dental procedures, such as exams, fillings, extractions, and crowns
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
- Collaborate with dental hygienists, dental assistants, and other staff members to provide comprehensive patient care

Requirements:
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school
- Valid state dental license in good standing
- Proven experience as a Dentist or in a similar role

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary

Pay: $700.00 - $1,200.00 per day
