Dental Hygienist

Our service-oriented general dental practice is seeking a full-time dental hygienist to join our team. Our long-term hygienist will be relocating next year, and we are looking for the right person to become their long-term replacement. We are prepared to have the right candidate begin as soon as possible.

The ideal candidate for our small, family-style practice is personable, outgoing, team-oriented, and committed to providing both excellent clinical care and an exceptional patient experience.

Our office consists of one doctor and a close-knit team of three. We schedule one patient at a time, allowing our hygienist to provide personalized, high-quality care without the pressure of an accelerated or overlapping schedule.

This is a full-time, four-day-per-week position with compensation of $60–$66 per hour, depending on experience and fit. Benefits include employer-supported health insurance, paid time off and retirement matching.

Our practice features current-generation Cavitron 300 ultrasonic systems, digital radiography, and Eaglesoft practice management software.

Monday-Wednesday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Thursday: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Dental Hygienist with current state licensure
• Proficient in patient education, dental prophylaxis, and periodontal maintenance
• Experience with EHR systems (e.g., Eaglesoft, Dentrix) and HIPAA compliance
• Strong patient care, communication, and documentation skills
• Knowledge of dental terminology, equipment, and infection control; basic vital signs and medical history review

Responsibilities

• Provide preventive and therapeutic dental hygiene care, including patient assessments, scaling and polishing, and radiographic documentation as needed.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene, prevention, and maintenance; review medical history and medications; ensure HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.
• Record findings and treatment plans in EHR systems
• Ensure infection control, sterilization, and equipment maintenance; monitor vital signs when necessary and manage pediatric considerations per protocol.
• Support patient scheduling, manage patient flow, and participate in case management to optimize care and satisfaction.

Pay: $60.00 - $66.00 per hour
