Experienced Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) – Full-Time or Part-Time

Our established, privately owned general dental practice is looking for an experienced Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to become a valued member of our team. We are seeking someone who is confident, dependable, takes initiative, and can thrive in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.

Orthodontic experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate who has a strong general dentistry background.

What You'll Do

• Assist the doctor during a variety of general dental procedures
• Prepare treatment rooms and maintain excellent infection control standards
• Take high-quality digital radiographs and intraoral photos
• Fabricate temporary crowns and perform expanded duties as permitted
• Manage instruments, sterilization, and operatory organization
• Educate patients before and after treatment
• Help create a positive, welcoming experience for every patient
• Work as a true team player to keep the schedule running efficiently

Qualifications

• Current Texas Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license
• Minimum of 4 years of recent chairside experience in a general dental practice
• Excellent knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and materials
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Reliable, punctual, and professional
• Comfortable working independently and anticipating the doctor's needs
• Experience with digital x-rays and dental software (Open Dental experience is a plus)
• Orthodontic assisting experience is a plus

Pay: From $23.00 per hour
