Experienced Dental Assistant / RDA - Private General Dentistry Practice

Compensation: Up to $40/hour, based on experience, qualifications, and licensure

We are a small but strong private general dentistry practice looking for an experienced Dental Assistant, RDA, or RDAEF to join our team.

Our office is made up of a highly experienced staff, with every member of our current team bringing 10+ years of experience to the dental field. We value professionalism, consistency, teamwork, and taking pride in the work we do every day.

We are looking for someone who is experienced, dependable, organized, and confident in their skills. The right person will be able to work seamlessly alongside our doctors and team while also being comfortable working independently.

The Ideal Candidate

Dental Assistant

• Minimum 10 years of dental assisting experience

RDA / RDAEF

• Minimum 5 years of clinical experience

Required Qualifications

• Dental assisting program/certificate OR current RDA/RDAEF license
• Current California X-Ray Certification
• Current Coronal Polishing Certificate
• Current Infection Control certification
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• HIPAA training
• Must meet applicable California dental assisting requirements

Preferred Experience

• iTero or similar intraoral scanning experience
• Digital dentistry experience
• Experience with Cocoon digital X-ray
• Experience with Eaglesoft or similar dental software
• Strong four-handed dentistry skills
• Experience assisting in general dentistry procedures
• Familiarity with efficient operatory turnover and maintaining a smooth clinical schedule

Eaglesoft experience is preferred, but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate on our software.

Schedule

Monday: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
Tuesday: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
Wednesday: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Thursday: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Friday: As needed, approximately 1–2 Fridays per month

Full-Time or Long-Term Part-Time

We are open to both full-time and long-term part-time candidates.

Part-time candidates are welcome to apply if they can commit to one or more consistent days per week. We are looking for someone who wants a stable, long-term position—not someone looking for occasional or temporary work.
