Expanded Duties Dental Assistant

Dental Assistant/EDDA-$500 sign on bonus

We are looking for a motivated, dependable Dental Assistant/EDDA who is passionate about dentistry, enjoys working with people, and thrives in a collaborative team setting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms and ensure operatories are clean, organized, and fully stocked
• Assist the dentist during a variety of procedures, including preventive, restorative, cosmetic, and surgical treatments
• Take high-quality digital radiographs
• Educate patients by providing pre- and post-treatment instructions
• Sterilize instruments and maintain equipment in accordance with OSHA and infection control standards
• Accurately update patient records and assist with clinical charting
• Help with occasional front office duties, including scheduling, patient check-in/check-out, and answering phones when needed
• Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining a friendly, positive, and professional attitude
• Work closely with the dental team to ensure efficient patient flow and an outstanding patient experience

Qualifications

• Dental Assistant certification or Kentucky EDDA certification
• Current Radiology certification (required)
• Current CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Positive attitude with a strong commitment to patient care and teamwork
• Experience with Eaglesoft dental software is preferred but not required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $26.00 per hour
