Job Description

As a Dentist Associate, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive, high-quality dental care to patients while working collaboratively with the dental team.

The ideal candidate is a compassionate and clinically skilled dentist who is committed to patient centered care and enjoys working in an environment that provides both professional autonomy and access to experienced leadership.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive dental examinations, diagnoses, treatment planning, and treatment
• Deliver high-quality general dental care based on each patient's individual needs
• Educate patients regarding oral health, preventive care, and recommended treatment
• Establish trusting, long-term relationships with patients and families
• Review medical and dental histories and identify relevant health considerations
• Perform appropriate restorative, preventive, and diagnostic procedures within your scope of practice
• Develop and present individualized treatment plans
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and patient records
• Coordinate care with dental assistants, hygienists, administrative staff, and other members of the dental team
• Follow established clinical, infection control, safety, and regulatory standards
• Maintain appropriate professional licenses and continuing education requirements
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development
• Exercise sound clinical judgment while utilizing the Senior Dental Director as a resource for consultation, mentorship, and guidance when needed

You will have an independent schedule and autonomy in patient care, with access to guidance from our Senior Dental Director for clinical questions, treatment planning, complex cases, professional development, and other areas where additional support may be helpful.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school
• Current dental license in the state of MA
• Ability to provide safe, ethical, and high-quality patient care
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to patient-centered dentistry
• Ability to work effectively as part of a dental team
• Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail
• Commitment to continuing education and professional development
