You have presented a lot of treatment plans. You know the difference between a patient who needs more information and a patient who needs you to ask for the decision, and you ask. Dentrix, insurance estimates, and financing are second nature.

What you want now is a practice that gives you real diagnosed treatment, a system that works, and then gets out of your way.

THE ROLE

The treatment coordinator turns a diagnosis into a scheduled appointment. Doctors find what patients need. You help patients understand it, afford it, and commit to it. Most of what you present runs from a few hundred to several thousand dollars, and it is the difference between a busy practice and a productive one.

WHAT YOUR DAY LOOKS LIKE

Before a patient sits down with you, the insurance estimate and financing options are already built in Dentrix. You walk them through the plan in plain language, find out what is really holding them back, and ask for the decision. Large plans get broken into phases the patient can start today.

Between consultations you work your list of pending and unscheduled treatment, calling until every case is either scheduled or closed. You hand off cleanly to the front desk and clinical team so scheduled treatment actually happens, and you know your case acceptance numbers every week.

WHO THRIVES IN THIS SEAT

Treatment coordinators who succeed here are confident, warm, and competitive. They create urgency by explaining what happens if a patient waits, never by pressure. They like being measured, because they win.

What we look for, in order of importance:

Drive. You ask for the decision, and you are comfortable with the silence after you say the number.

Connection. You build trust fast, and you use it to help patients say yes to care they need.

Pace. An undecided case does not sit. You follow up until there is an answer.

Precision. Your estimates, notes, and handoffs are right, so the patient's next visit goes smoothly.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Treatment coordinator or case presentation experience in a dental office
Dentrix experience
Working knowledge of dental insurance, estimates, and third-party patient financing

WHY YOU'LL WANT TO WORK HERE

You will not be micromanaged or retrained on the basics. You get diagnosed treatment from doctors trained to diagnose comprehensively, an office manager who backs the system, and a practice that tracks case acceptance, so the work you do shows up in the numbers.

People grow here. We cross-train across seats so you can move into the next one, and our new Lititz office manager started in our hygiene chair.

Mor Smiles and Ephrata Family Dentistry are owned and run by Dr. Sean Moriarty. This is not a corporate chain. Decisions get made here, by the owner, not by a regional manager you will never meet.

Full-time means four days, 40 hours, and a three-day weekend every weekend. You get a full benefit package and a harmonious work family that steps in for each other when the day gets heavy.

THIS IS NOT THE RIGHT FIT IF

You present the plan, hand over the printout, and wait for the patient to call
Talking about money with patients makes you uncomfortable
Follow-up calls feel like bothering people
