Dental Receptionist

Job Summary

We are seeking a warm and detail-oriented Part-Time Dental Receptionist to join our amazing dental team! In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a welcoming and efficient front desk experience. You will also be cross-trained to help with patient care in the back.

We are a long established practice that is going through recent growth and modernizations. We treat each other like family here and really care. No toxic environment and no working crazy late hours or every Saturday here.

Hours

This is a 1-2 days a week roll that will likely grow into 3 days a week. Working 3 half days a week is an option too: there is some flexibility.

We are open every Monday (9-6), Tuesday (8-5:30), and Thursday (8-5). We are also open one Friday a month and one Saturday a month, 8-1pm.

Duties

• Usual front desk tasks: electronic charting and billing, check in/check out, taking phonecalls.
• You will be cross-trained to help with clinical care in the back occasionally, including taking x-rays and setting up/breaking down patient rooms.

Experience

• Previous clinic or medical office experience is highly preferred, especially in a dental or healthcare setting.
• Strong computer skills, familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems, especially Dentrix, and excellent communication abilities.
