• Busy, established dental practice seeking an experienced and friendly Dental Receptionist / Front Office Coordinator to join our team!
  
• We are looking for someone who is organized, professional, dependable, and great with people. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a team environment and understands that excellent communication and customer service are an important part of the patient experience.
  
• Responsibilities
  
  • Greet patients warmly and provide an excellent front-office experience
  • Answer phones, schedule and confirm appointments
  • Check patients in and out
  • Verify dental insurance and benefits
  • Review treatment plans and discuss financial arrangements with patients
  • Submit and follow up on dental insurance claims
  • Collect patient payments and maintain accurate accounts
  • Handle pre-authorizations and insurance questions
  • Communicate with patients regarding appointments, treatment, and balances
  • Maintain an organized and efficient front desk
  • Work closely with the doctors, hygienists, and dental assistants
• Qualifications
  
  • Previous dental front-office experience preferred
  • Knowledge of dental insurance and dental terminology
  • Experience with Dentrix preferred
  • Excellent communication and customer-service skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Comfortable discussing treatment and financial arrangements
  • Professional, friendly, and positive attitude
  • Ability to multitask in a busy dental office
  • Reliable and dependable
