Our busy and growing dental office in Bakersfield is looking for a friendly, organized, and dependable Dental Receptionist to join our team. We are seeking someone who enjoys helping patients, provides excellent customer service, and can multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate is professional, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple front office responsibilities while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for our patients.

Responsibilities

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Greeting patients and providing excellent customer service
• Checking patients in and out
• Answering phones and scheduling appointments
• Managing and responding to office emails
• Verifying dental insurance eligibility
• Completing insurance breakdowns
• Checking covered services and insurance frequencies
• Collecting copays and patient payments
• Scanning and organizing patient documents
• Charting and documenting dental treatment
• Entering appointment notes
• Coordinating with the clinical team for efficient patient flow
• Maintaining a clean and organized front office

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year experience as a Dental Receptionist
• Experience with insurance verification and breakdowns
• Strong communication and phone skills
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy office
• Detail-oriented and reliable
• Professional and team-oriented attitude
• Experience with dental software preferred
