Dental Office: Front Desk Reception

Our private practice in Roseville is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Check-in Assistant (Front Desk Reception) to join our growing team!

Our team provides patients with best-in-class service and quality before, during and after their dental appointment. Our Check-in Assistants perform a variety of tasks scheduling and communicating with new and existing patients with the utmost level of hospitality, collaborating with front and back office team members, and maintaining an inviting environment for our patients.

With 4 dentists- ranging in special services from full-mouth cosmetic cases to anterior and posterior RCT as well as pediatric treatment- and an ABO certified Orthodontist, and a team of Hygienists, we offer our patients and their families a wide breadth of services and treatment options all under on roof!

The ideal candidate is self-motivated and eager to grow. This person will support the mission, vision, and values of the practice to provide the the best oral health and smile confidence to our community!

Schedule

• Part-Time: 20-30 hours per week.
• This role would be part of our CA Alternative Workweek Schedule (AWS)consisting of 2-3 10-hour shifts per week (if we offer a position to you, an AWS agreement with your specific schedule will be included with your offer letter).

Responsibilities

• Answer phones in a timely manner and resolve patient inquiries and concerns
• Schedule new and existing patient appointments using appropriate dental codes.
• Greet patients and check them into their appointments
• Provide 5-star customer service & hospitality
• Monitor wait times and be the conduit of communication between the patient and the clinical team.
• Collect payments and capture credit cards to save to the patient account
• Collect paperwork and follow up to ensure completion
• Verify insurance benefits
• Make follow-up calls to ensure the schedule is full, productive and facilitates good flow
• Additional responsibilities as skill level allows and/ or the needs of the business dictate

Skills & Compencies

• Must have experience working in a Dental Front Office/ Reception
• Must have experience working with EHR (electronic health records) and Dental practice managment software (i.e. Dentrix, EagleSoft, Open Dental, etc.)
• Must have experience working with a multi-line phone system
• Strong customer service skills
• Excellent multi-tasking skills
• Proficient with Google Suite
• Excellent communication and people skills
• Proficient in the English language. Bilingual is a plus!
• Experience with Open Dental is a plus
