We are looking for the right Full-time, Front Office/Patient Coordinator to join our fun and hardworking team. We are a well established fee for service one Dr. / one Hygienist General Dental office with an emphasis on TMJ and bite rehabilitation treatment. Located in the NW corner of Colorado Springs in the Rockrimmon neighborhood.

DENTAL EXPERIENCE is a "MUST HAVE".

Our office has a 32 hour work week and work 180 days a year..

This position requires a multi-task , detailed oriented person with high energy, outgoing and fun personality, professional demeanor with strong interpersonal skills, congenial and sensitive attitude toward our patients. You must have exceptional phone etiquette, customer service skills, and always have the mind set of putting the patients first. Our patients are our family.
Eaglesoft dental software experience is recommended. Knowledge of the dental field and computer skills are a must.
The primary responsibilities would include being a great TEAM member, patient communication, keeping the schedule full, posting payments, resolving insurance questions, checking patients in and out, helping make sure quality patient care comes first and various other administrative duties. EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

High School Diploma is minimum requirement

CPR certified

WORK EXPERIENCE:

DENTAL EXPERIENCE is a MUST.

Customer Service/ Patient Oriented background

Excellent communication skills

Dental software knowledge (Eaglesoft is a plus)

High School Diploma

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

-In our effort to provide health centered dentistry for our patients, as team members we will form partnerships to ensure that the “sum” of the whole team is greater than the number of individuals.

-Enthusiastically and personally welcoming, interacting and making comfortable every patient during every contact they have with the practice via phone, written communication or in person.

-Scheduling patients to meet established production goals for the doctor and the hygienist.

-Utilizing established financial agreement system to partner with patients in the creation of financial agreements, which are a “win-win” for both the patients and the practice.

-Teaming with the doctor and hygienist to maintain the practice’s established recare and retention system. This involves everyone on the team partnering with patients as they progress from creation through the completion and maintenance of their master plan for optimal dental health.

-Teaming with the doctor and hygienist to maintain the practice’s established reactivation system. This involves everyone on the team following the practice’s established system for reconnecting patients to the practice.

-Maintaining the practice’s established systems for billing, management of accounts receivable, insurance filing and clerical functions.

DAY–TO-DAY DUTIES:

Insurance filing

Collecting and posting of payments

Treatment planning

Computer knowledge - Eaglesoft

Phone skills

Communication Skills: Face-to-face and telephone

Financial Agreements

Tracking production/scheduling

Tracking treatment – formal and informal

AM/Staff meeting responsibilities

Scanning Charts/EOB’s

Supporting hygiene

Supporting assistants

Sitting in on Consults

Checking patients in and out

Scheduling patients for treatment, using guidelines

Confirm appointments

Run reports, daily, weekly, monthly, yearly

Shred pertinent information/paper

Schedule new patients

Referrals to Specialists

Thank you’s for referrals

Coordinating business meeting

Check and follow-up on messages

AR billing statements

Collection calls

Recall calls

Order office supplies

Pre-treatment filling to insurance

Calculation/math skills

Printing/Calling in of prescriptions

Tracking new patient referrals

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32.0 per week
