Moody Dental is currently seeking an experienced Insurance Specialist to join our esteemed Financial Department. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience as an Insurance Coordinator/Specialist within a dental practice. Familiarity with Dentrix Ascend software is highly preferred. ```Qualifications```

• Solid understanding of dental billing and insurance procedures with Medicaid and PPO plans preferred.
• Proficiency with Insurance verification and protocols preferred.
• Dentrix Ascend experience highly preferred
• Excellent organizational skills, customer service, and multi-tasking ability required.
• Insurance claims processing, billing, and records management
• Reviewing each financial statement for any payment inconsistencies or errors
• Knowledge of dental codes
• Knowledge of accounts receivables and work on aging and insurance policies/benefitsThe role will be responsible for collecting balances and account reconciliations of insurance and patient
• Previous experience working in a dental office Required.
• Familiarity with insurance verification processes.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
