Dental Insurance Coordinator

Dental Insurance Coordinator – Private Practice (4-Day Week | No Weekends), 30-32 hours per week.

Laskin Family Dental is a privately owned, single-doctor practice seeking an experienced Dental Insurance Coordinator to join our front office team. We offer a stable, well-organized environment with a consistent 4-day work week and a supportive team culture.

We are hiring immediately and will respond quickly to qualified applicants. Experience in dental office insurance coordination is REQUIRED.

Compensation: $24–$30 per hour, based on experience

This role is primarily focused on insurance and patient financial coordination, with light front desk support as needed.

Responsibilities include:

• Insurance verification and eligibility checks
• Submitting and tracking claims and pre-treatment estimates
• Posting insurance payments and managing adjustments
• Accounts receivable (A/R) and aging follow-up
• Resolving outstanding insurance claims
• Calculating copays and presenting treatment costs
• Answering patient billing and insurance questions

We use Open Dental in a well-organized, established workflow.

What we’re looking for:

• Prior dental insurance coordination experience required
• Strong knowledge of PPO insurance plans (DentaQuest experience a plus)
• Experience with dental billing software (Open Dental preferred)
• Organized, detail-oriented, and dependable
• Comfortable discussing financials with patients
• Strong team player in a small private practice setting

Schedule & Location:

• Monday–Thursday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
• No nights or weekends
• In-person position (not remote)
