Dental Insurance Treatment Coordinator

Join Our Dental Team!

We are looking for an experienced Dental Insurance Treatment Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate is knowledgeable about dental insurance, confident communicating with patients, highly organized, and comfortable coordinating treatment plans and financial arrangements.

Schedule: Full Time = Monday - Thursday 8:00AM-5:00PM

Location: Longview, WA 98632

Responsibilities

• Verify dental insurance eligibility and benefits
• Review treatment plans and insurance coverage with patients
• Prepare accurate insurance estimates and patient financial arrangements
• Submit and track dental insurance claims
• Follow up on outstanding claims, denials, and insurance payments
• Obtain pre-authorizations and pre-determinations when needed
• Explain treatment costs, insurance benefits, and payment options clearly to patients
• Coordinate with doctors, hygienists, and the front office to ensure smooth patient care
• Maintain accurate insurance and patient financial records
• Assist with accounts receivable and insurance follow-up as needed
• Provide exceptional customer service and help patients understand their treatment options

Qualifications

• Previous dental insurance and treatment coordination experience required
• Strong knowledge of dental insurance terminology, benefits, and claims
• Experience with dental practice management software preferred (Dentrix)
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Professional, dependable, and positive attitude
• Comfortable discussing treatment costs and financial arrangements with patients
