Dental Hygienist – Wilmington Periodontics and Implant Center

We are a privately owned periodontal practice in Wilmington and Southport seeking a passionate Dental Hygienist to join our team on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays.

Unlike many offices, our hygienists are given 75 minutes with patients, allowing them to provide comprehensive care, build meaningful relationships, and focus on patient education—not just rush from room to room.

We are proud of our supportive culture, low team turnover, and commitment to clinical excellence. Our hygienists play a vital role in helping patients manage periodontal disease and improve their overall health. We also work closely with referring general dental offices, creating a collaborative environment focused on the best possible patient outcomes.

Schedule

• Mondays: 7AM - 4:00PM in Wilmington
• Thursday: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM - Southport
• Friday: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM - Southport

What We're Looking For

• Current NC Dental Hygiene license
• LA certification
• Passion for periodontal care and patient education
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
• Strong attention to detail
• Knowledge of CareStack is a plus, but not required

Responsibilities

• Deliver periodontal and preventive hygiene care
• Educate patients on oral health and home care
• Take radiographs and identify conditions requiring doctor attention
• Discuss treatment recommendations with patients
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation
• Collaborate with doctors, team members, and referring offices to support patient care
