Dental Hygienist

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our growing dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, educating patients on dental health, and ensuring a comfortable and positive experience for all patients. This role plays a vital part in maintaining oral health and supporting overall patient well-being through professional hygiene services and effective communication.

Duties

• Perform dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup.
• Conduct patient examinations to assess oral health status and identify potential issues.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, including brushing, flossing, and dietary recommendations.
• Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures, answer questions, and provide personalized oral health advice.
• Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures as needed.
• Maintain a clean and sterile clinical environment in compliance with safety standards.
• Document patient care activities accurately in electronic health records.
• Promote a welcoming atmosphere to ensure patient comfort throughout their visit.

Experience

• Knowledge of dental hygiene procedures, tools, and safety protocols.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate and reassure patients effectively.
• Ability to work well within a team-oriented environment.
• Certification or licensure as required by local regulations for Dental Hygienists.
