Dental Hygienist

We are seeking a skilled, confident, and patient-focused Dental Hygienist who is comfortable treating patients of all ages and thrives in a personalized private-practice environment.

Responsibilities & Skills Include:

• Proficient use of Eaglesoft dental software

• Proficiency with Cavitron/ultrasonic instrumentation

• Experience taking and interpreting digital radiographs

• Provide comprehensive prophylaxis and periodontal maintenance for patients of all ages

• Fluoride and SDF applications

• Arestin® placement as indicated

• Confident periodontal assessment and documentation

• Strong, confident doctor handoffs

• Comfortable discussing clinical findings and supporting the doctor's treatment recommendations

• Assist with treatment planning and patient communication

• Educate patients on proper at-home oral hygiene and individualized preventive care

• Build trusting relationships with patients through excellent communication and chairside manner

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow infection-control protocols

• Work collaboratively with the doctor and team to provide exceptional, personalized patient care

Qualifications

• Dental hygiene degree and active licensure

• Proficient in dental care, patient education, and chairside assisting

• Strong knowledge of dental terminology, HIPAA, and patient confidentiality

• Experience with EMR/EHR systems (e.g., Eaglesoft, Dentrix preferred)

• Ability to perform patient assessments, vital signs, and basic medical/dental imaging

• Four-handed dentistry and pediatric dentistry experience a plus

• Commitment to high-quality patient care, documentation, and teamwork

Pay: $54.00 - $60.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 30.0 per week
